Vision Food Innovations has used experience and innovation to develop delicious and nutritious baked goods that include superfoods. Under the hero brand Nature’s Flair we have gained significant traction in the plant based food market.

The plant based market grew at 27% per year (US CAGR) 2017 – 2019. The market is expected to continue to grow at a CAGR of 11.9% from 2020 to 2027 to reach $74.2 billion by 2027, $161.9 Billion globally. By offering added nutrition through superfoods and making a delicious product, Vision is going after the whole market, not just the plant based market.
There is strong 7% ($420 M) annual growth in sweet baked good snack segment from the current $6 B with buyer’s behaviour tilting towards alternative health and plant-based products (AC Nielson)
Business Model
The technology to use superfoods and novel ingredients to ensure the products taste delicious and are nutritious can be used in many other product lines, including cup cakes, brownies and even nutritious dog treats.
Efficiencies
Traction
Founded in May 2020, we secured a 20,000sq ft facility in Georgetown, Ontario in September 2020. In the same month we undertook detailed market research to truly understand the marketplace. By Q1 2021, we had completed the construction of the facility and started production.
Working with our partners we have secured orders for Metro Inc., Sobeys Inc. and Whole Foods Market to name a few. Building on the traction, we are continuously adding new partners and expanding across Canada.
Upcoming Event
We are participating in the CHFA NOW, Canada’s largest trade show and conference. We will have the opportunity to present our Plant-Based baked goods, and meet different businesses dedicated to natural, organic & wellness products.
